What are your operating hours?
Our Call Center is open for phone calls 24/7 Monday to Sunday to book your jobs. All other customer questions and inquiries will be handled between 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday, Saturday 9am to 12pm (except public holidays).
Our Byte Computers technicians can service your tech needs Remotely 24/7, and onsite and store service and repairs during normal business Hours Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm and 9am to 12pm Saturdays.
How soon before a Byte COmputersattends my booking?
Byte Computers will do its very best to get out to you the same day of booking. We always aim for same day service for critical requests like cloud backups or data recovery, however, on rare occasions it may have to be the next day.
How long will the booking take?
The length of the booking will vary depending on the quantity and severity of the work. We aim to have you back up and running within the hour, with the maximum data recovery possible however sometimes its just not possible. After a Byte Computers comes out and assesses the situation a more accurate calculation can be given.
Do you have a “No Solution, No Fee” Policy?
Byte Computers will make every effort to find a solution for your IT problem, however if we cannot provide a solution, we will not charge you for our services.
However if Byte Computers diagnoses your problem and offers a solution but you decline to accept their advice, you will be charged for our service.
If my computer needs hardware am I obligated to purchase through Byte Computers?
There is no obligation to purchase hardware that Byte Computers recommend/require to complete the job, however you will still be required to pay the hourly rate.
How much do you charge?
Byte Computers has a flat rate with no callout fee. Byte COmputers charges $85 including GST per hour of labour. These charges exclude the price of any hardware that may be required to carry out the repairs.
